My question is this, I have been to many churches and some preach that Jesus Christ is not God in the flesh but he is the only Begotten of the Father, That Jesus is the son of God a man just like you and I born of a woman made under the law. But he was highly anointed, he had both a devine nature and human nature. Then there have been some churches that I have attended that states that Jesus is God in the flesh, God come down from heaven. My question is which is correct, is Jesus the son of God, or is Jesus God himself?

Bible says that Jesus was God (John chapter1). Word of God was with God and he was God and the word came to this world in flesh and he died for the sin of mankind and God raised him from dead. He is now in the right side of God with a new body, which is not belongs to this creation(Hebrews (9:11). For whom he foreknew, he also foreordained to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren: This is exactly written in Philippians 2: 6-11
This is the true knowledge of Christ.

we must also consider the incarnation. God incarnated himself and we beheld his glory as of the only begotten son, but it was God with us. the purpose of Jesus was to redeem the lost son ship of humanity.

I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead...God is the father of all (including Jesus). I tend to agree with the first portion of you question. Jesus is the son of God and God was in him reconciling the world back to him...The bible says all power was GIVEN unto Jesus. Jesus prayed to the father many times throughout the bible and even rewarded Peter with the keys to heaven for revealing him as the son of God. Jesus was both Christ (the spirit of God) and man( Yeshua)...there are two occasions when God speaks and say " this is my son, in whom I AM well pleased. God never died and that is important to understand. Jesus died and God glorified him and sat him on HIS right hand...and in revelation Jesus will have to give all power back to God. I'm at work and don't really have time to reference all of my Scriptures but I believe Jesus is the Son of God...Ill leave you with this ( and once again I don't have the scripture or time to find it) but the word says we are heirs of God (father) and JOINT heirs with Christ...this means that we will inherit the glory of God just as Christ did...Jesus was perfect in his walk, The name of Jesus is the only way we can pray to the Father and that is the glory of his name
